CEREAL DONATIONS!! 
 
We will be doing a "Panther Food" fundraiser that requires a LOT of cereal!!  Each cheerleader is being asked to donate TWO boxes by Friday, August 27, 2010.  
Each Cheer team member is asked to bring two 8.9oz boxes of Cheerios
Each Competition team member is asked to bring one 12oz box of Crispex and one 17oz box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch 
 
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!! 
We are in need of Cheer team  members and parents to help sell donuts at the Bulldogs Football games on Sept 4 & 5 from 9:45am until 2:00pm.  To volunteer, please contact your coach! 
 
 
PIER WEST FUNDRAISER 
Pier west has teamed up with WHS Cheerleading to help us raise money for uniforms!!  All you need to do is hand out coupons!!  When the coupon is presented at Pier West between Aug 23-Sept 7, 2010, Pier West will donate 5% of your food bill (appetizers and entrees) to WHS Cheerleading.  Coupons will be available online here to print Friday.  Coupons will be handed out to all cheerleaders on Thursday!!  Make your reservations now!!
 
TEAM PICTURES!!
 
Team pictures will be taken on Thursday, Sept 9 at 4:00pm.  Please meet in the commons READY TO GO by 4:00pm!!  If you are not there, we will not wait.  Please talk to your Coach if you have questions regarding apparel.  Order forms will be handed out Tuesday, Sept 7. 
 
 
 
TUMBLING!!

Where:  Layton Athletics, Ringwood IL
Cost:  $20 per month
When:  Mondays
4:00- 5:30pm!! This is now one class!!
  • *All Competition Team members are REQUIRED to attend.  Tumbling is optional but highly suggested for the Cheer team.
  • Directions:  From School, Hwy 173 West into Richmond.  Turn Left (south) on IL-12/31.  Go thru Richmond. Go under Railroad Bridge to stoplight.  12 will turn to left...do NOT turn left.  Go straight ahead on 31.  Layton's entrance is slightly hidden by trees  Turn right on Dakota Drive.  Turn left on Austin Ct.  Layton is 3rd building on left

A weekly update goes out by email from our cheerleading club.  If you are not receiving these important updates, please email us at whscheerclub@gmail.com and we will add you to our contact list.  If you receive the emails and would no longer like to do so....please respond with "remove" and we will take you off of the list

 

 

 

CHEERLEADING CLUB!!

Attention all cheer parents!!  Check out the "Wilmot Cheerleading Club".  This is an excellent opportunity for you to be involved with your daughter's sport & lend support throughout the year!!  The Cheerleading Club will meet the First Monday of every month at 6:00pm in the Library at WHS (room 180).  There are LOTS of opportunities to get involved or just come to a meeting just to see what we're all about!! 

The club will focus on funds, fundraising, cheer wear & helping with paperwork & coordinating volunteers.  We have committees for everything!!  If you get a request from them to help out, please don't be shy!!  Sign up!! 

Parents, get involved, make an appearance, get to know one another.  If anything, it's a great opportunity to get to know & recognize the fan section you can sit in at competitions!!

Uniform Care Instructions
Machine Wash SEPARATELY
Large Load (not small load even though there are only 2 things being washed) 
  Gentle Cycle 
  Warm Wash Water
Cool Rinse Water
REMOVE PROMPTLY
Hang to dry (not on a wire hanger it will rust)
DO NOT use Fabric Softener!!  (it destroys the stain guard in the fabric)
DO NOT Iron! DO NOT Dry Clean!
