The Nikkole Taylor Scholarship is a $1000 annual scholarship that will be awarded to a graduating Senior Cheerleader. The scholarship is funded by the Wilmot Cheerleading Club and Tony Taylor. The winner of the scholarship is chosen by the Wilmot Cheerleading Club.
Requirements: Applicant must be a member of the Wilmot cheerleading team during their senior year. The Applicant must have been a cheerleader at Wilmot for a minimum of one season (football or basketball) each of the 4 years that they were a student at WHS. A transfer Student is eligible with a minimum of one season of participation per year and 3 years of participation. Appliants must have no history of ineligibility according to the Wilmot High School Code of Conduct during their career as a cheerleader at WIlmot. Student also must have lettered in the season in order for it to be considered a complete season.
Applicant must submit the following items: Most Recent Transcript, Proof of acceptance letter from a college, 1-2 page double spaced typed essay
Essay Question: How do you feel your involvement in Wilmot Cheerleading has made a difference in the current & future success of the program, and how had the program helped to prepare you for your future?
